all right so which would you would you grab a battery-powered one again for a job like this or would you go with gas [Music] you know what I think the battery's still pretty much full sorry I think we'll have to change a battery all for the job well let's see we've got the job half wiped out a little over half yep little over half right that is one big hedge let's go find out from the guys with the game plan is Alex who is new to us was actually the project foreman of another company and so he actually has trimmed this book before Alex this isn't your first time with this this hedge so how did you do it before I usually just trim the sides and work my way to the top and then just kind of round the top to match the flow of the yard how do you get to the top on something that tall just with the extension Oh which one what did you use before I was a steel okay and it had it was essentially the same set up but it wasn't battery power to his gas power it was the gas power 1 so to be interesting to see if there's battery powered one yeah it has a chance against this so how long did it take you in the past to do this well the past he had us do both sides so we had to climb over the fence and took us like four or five hours or so okay probably should take two and a half three hours I mean it's definitely more overgrown than it was last time that's for sure so you think two or two and a half to three hours on this side right yeah okay well we're gonna find out so let's set the time and we'll see what now was it you by yourself or was it a two-man crew cuz that's actually three of us three of us so it's you and Jake working together okay so whatever we'll find out if the battery can compete with gas that's the so when it comes down to it and I don't want you guys to lie I don't want cuz Milwaukee isn't paying us Steel's not paying us we've worked for Milwaukee we've worked for Steel they're both great companies I honestly just want the the bare bones good bad or in between truth yeah all right so I'm gonna set up the GoPro out here and we're gonna do a time-lapse of this thing's while you guys are okay well that didn't quite go the way I thought it was gonna go I had to run home to get a GoPro to do a time-lapse and they've already got the bottom part of this side done what are you use for that part Alex just this right here huh okay it's not as heavy drag round is that big one there how is it compared to a gas one to use this thing works just as well as one I was surprised how about power okay yep powers fine yeah wait how about the wait a little later a little later okay what are you gonna do this bump out here ah nah my checks is lilac but she said he doesn't really want us to really do much trimming on it so I'll probably just pick off right over there sides there yeah okay all right well let me get the camera ready for that don't so is it the top that takes you the longest then cuz you said before it took you two and a half to three hours per side yeah okay take him standing back telling me if I'm still level with the yard cuz it kind of goes like this for the yard and then he wants to keep it like that so as we're looking back to the hedge kind of follows the yards so you use a spotter yes well he'll probably spot me back there all right you got it you're the producer I love my customers it just makes it fun man just makes it fun Jake you the allergies killing destroyed dude look at my eyes Tim looked at my eyes look bad kind of yeah yeah cuz I icon would everywhere we're blown and it's coming right back my face and I'm just sneezing and oh gosh snot rock yeah I was uh I got up at 6:00 and drove up north in it as I got older the allergies no longer affect my breathing they go right to my eyes I mean y-yeah yeah it's like my this I I could barely see out of it and when I wipe my eyes see all the crap I pull out of my eyes terrible worse all right you guys tell us tell me do you guys get allergies and your nose cuz I used to when I was a kid growing up used to hit me right here but now I'm older it's just all in my eyes I mean I can't see nothing you get allergies Alex all right guys this is where I really need your help because I've suffered from allergies my entire life and nothing has ever really worked that well for me I used to take this stuff called claritin-d 24-hour and what would happen is this stuff would clear me up but it would keep me up all night long and would actually make me feel like loopy in the head I would feel like that was my brain and my body were disconnected and I can't stand that feeling but I also hate allergies so then I went down to claret indeed 12-hour thinking you know maybe at night I'll be able to sleep a little better because the allergy medicine won't kick in at night because I take it in the morning but then every single night my allergies kick back in and start kicking my butt my throat starts itching my eyes get goopy and so I can't sleep very well at night I was doing some research on YouTube and I came across this channel called vacuum Wars and this dude does a phenomenal job reviewing this machine called the enviro cleanse and it's like an allergy annihilating machine so my plan is I'm gonna stick with this crap during the day and I'm gonna hook this and viral cleanse machine up in my bedroom at night to see if it'll remove all of the allergens to help me sleep but I want to hear from you if you guys have any experience how you guys handle your allergies please it include it in the comments down below and if this and viral cleanse machine works I'm gonna put a link in the description and see if I can maybe get you guys a bit of a discount on it so tell me your guys's story how you deal with your allergies let's get back into this video all right so we're gonna go up top now yeah cool okay what's the what's the what's the plan probably it's gonna get the side on the top there where I couldn't reach at the handheld one trim that nice and even and then I'll start sculpting the top there alright ready when you are I can just see all you armchair quarterbacks right now jumping up and down trying to tell us how to do our business you know what instead of commenting down below how many things we do ride let me just go out grab a couple three four cameras start filming videos and it then put them together tag them commando and upload them yourself go little hard on the shoulders and for the rest of you tell me down below but to me there's just something satisfying watching this job just transform before your very eyes comment down below what you think so you have the extension on there so now you're just going to go down to the just the attachment so the extension gives you an extra I think three or four feet I believe I don't know for sure that going faster and ours at the normal speed normal speed okay like I said last time we had to take the dump trailer all our equipment and drive around to the other side there so I definitely took some time out to I'm actually just talking about this one side Oh just trying to get a feel for how each side is going if this is speeding up the process slowing down the process or just rim so right on okay I haven't died in a couple of years too so I'm not on par and I'd speed with it so it might be a taking a little bit longer but you know it's moving pretty quickly you know it seems like it yeah you know every time I shut the Machine off I don't have to have it sitting there and idling so I can set it down let it you know it's not just sitting there running while I'm taking a look at it you know you can keep your shoulders a break yeah I see you pulled the x mark up is that your toe way again no that's gonna be so he can stand up a little bit higher that's your ladder okay alright okay so the next part is the top the extension goes back on then you're gonna put probably angle it or about what 90 or okay so is that the angle you're gonna run it at so are you gonna go with a steeper angle now or are you gonna just gonna pull the mower up there a little bit leave at an angle and kind of come at it like this and get that top flat there okay so should we put the ladder on the more [Laughter] it might help in some spots [Applause] all right thoughts you busted this job off pretty fast with the Milwaukee versus the steely a nay in between I say yeah definitely a lot faster I mean I guess it's about the same that's definitely a lot later than the gas-powered one for sure the whole shaft a little flimsy and you're kind of wobbling it up there it starts wobbling a little bit kind of gets it a little harder to hold down okay but if Susie take that extension out then it works real well then it solids it up a little bit more yeah it's much more solid than okay it's no flex at all out of it okay good to know all right so which would you would you grab a battery-powered one again for a job like this or would you go with gas probably battery-powered you would much easier yeah if I run out of gas I gotta walk back to the truck refill it and I could just bring both all three batteries up here and do it all but you know what I think the battery's still pretty much full so I don't you think we'll have to change a battery all for the job well let's see we've got the job yeah a pillow half lightened out a little over half yep a little over half right putting up batteries full that's got four bars on it it's full that's yeah we probably won't even burn through one battery I was gonna grab you guys another battery and then I thought we brought me and he brought through yeah because I was gonna be on the trigger the whole time I figured that I was gonna burn to the battery's pretty quickly but so that's the 12 amp hour battery so good to know all right I mean hey I've got steel tools I like steel tools tools so I'm not trying to burn steel I just wanted to honestly know if these battery-powered tools would actually be able to handle a job like this for you guys I wanted to get it from here from you guys so there you go all right now you guys know what I know we've got a little bit more hedge to trim I hope this videos helped you out let me know in the comments down below and check out these other two videos right here god bless you guys and go get them
