Next up after demo: pool coping

What happens here

After demolition, prepare the site for new construction. This involves grading the terrain to achieve desired slopes for drainage and aesthetic appeal. Dig trenches for new plumbing and electrical lines for features like pool equipment, lighting, and a fire pit. Install any necessary retaining wall structures or modifications. Backfill and compact soil around the pool structure to create a stable base for the surrounding patio. Lay down geotextile fabric and a compacted base layer (e.g., gravel or crushed stone) where the new patio will be built.

Goal: Prepare the ground and install necessary underground utilities for new features.
