Raise Hay Bale and Prepare Tool

What happens here

The host operates a hand crank on the bale unroller to lift the loaded hay bale slightly off the ground. This elevation allows the bale to spin freely during unrolling and prevents it from dragging. He explains that if the hay string were removed while the bale was on the ground, a lot of hay would be wasted as it would fall where the cows couldn't reach it, or onto the muddy ground. He then prepares his Gerber multi-tool, demonstrating its functionality, for cutting the hay bale strings in the next stage.
