What happens here

With the Clam Predator Tip Up now configured in flag-only mode, the presenter demonstrates its operation. When the fishing line is pulled, simulating a fish taking the bait, the line slips out of the notch on the flag arm. This release causes the flag to spring up, signaling a bite to the angler. Crucially, the hook is not automatically set; instead, the fish is allowed to run with the line. The angler then manually sets the hook by grabbing the rod and pulling. This method is perfectly legal in Minnesota and other jurisdictions where automatic hook-setting is prohibited.

Goal: Show flag notification without automatic hook set
