What happens here
To complement the hardscaping, softscaping elements are integrated throughout the design. Karl Foerster grasses are used on the backside of the fire pit for visual interest and to define the space. Arborvitae trees are planted along the back of the patio to provide privacy, and these are expected to grow over time to create a dense screen. Various other plantings are strategically placed around the house and patio areas to soften edges and add color.
Goal: Enhance the hardscaping with appropriate plantings for aesthetics and privacy.
