What happens here

The primary challenge of the sloped backyard is addressed by designing a multi-level patio. Instead of extending a flat patio, the design opts to 'cut out' the existing soil and implement a 'raised wall' system against the house. This results in a series of about six steps leading from the house to the main patio level, incorporating a raised planter to protect the house's foundation.

Goal: Create a functional and safe multi-level patio despite significant ground elevation changes.
