Never Have a Dull Blade Again! | Smiths Diamond Combo Sharpener 3-Month Review on Amazon

What happens here

For a larger kitchen knife, use the coarse (yellow, 750-grit) side of the Smith's sharpener. Hold the kitchen knife blade at the same consistent 30-degree angle, leveraging the 'box' or corner of the sharpener to help maintain this angle as you draw the blade. Draw the knife across the sharpener, pushing it away from your body, covering the entire length of the blade. Repeat this several times on both sides of the blade to re-establish a sharp cutting edge, especially if the knife is heavily used or very dull.

Goal: Re-hone the blade of a dull kitchen knife to establish an initial edge.
