My trim painting setup. How to spray perfect baseboards! #perfectfinish #noruns #painter

What happens here

Begin by setting up the spray gun with an ExitFlex TwinFit guard, which is compatible with various tips including Rack X, TriTech Titan, and Bedford. For baseboard spraying, a TriTech 208 fine finish tip is recommended to achieve a smooth, even coating. Before spraying, ensure all surrounding areas, especially the newly installed flooring, are thoroughly masked using 1.5-inch Frog Tape Blue and an empty masker equipped with 9-inch paper to prevent overspray on adjacent surfaces.

Goal: This step outlines the specific spray gun components, including the guard and fine finish tip, and the masking materials used to prepare the baseboards for spraying.

  • 9-inch Masking Paper
  • Airless Spray Gun
