So it's a tough gaff, I gotta say it's probably one of the top 10 inventions for painters. It was actually created for gaffers in the gaffing industry, but always have your tape with you at all times. Your frog tape is my favorite tape, but it also has a polymer on the outside of the tape that creates sharp lines. If you put the tape in your mouth, the polymer is going to swell up, it's going to funny too. Just tack your tape. A tough gaff is the way to keep the tape with you at all times. I'm not searching for your roller tape running out to the trailer, looking for it in the grass, trying to find it in the house, we're out here at a new construction house, and I'm masking windows off, and I'm doing the sides of the windows with inch and a half blue frog tape. Got my tough gaff with me. It's a must-have tool for any painter, new construction interior or exterior repaints.
