Initial Surface Sanding

What happens here

Begin by thoroughly sanding the flat surfaces of the cabinet door. Use an orbital sander, specifically an Ekasand 3x4 Sander, equipped with a medium-grit sanding pad, such as a FilmTek 320 Grit pad. Connect the sander to a vacuum system, like a Bosch Vac, via its dust collection hose to capture sanding dust directly at the source. This ensures a clean working environment and prevents dust from settling back onto the freshly sanded surface. Systematically move the sander across the entire face of the cabinet door, ensuring even coverage and consistent pressure to achieve a uniform finish.
