Edge and Detail Sanding

What happens here

Following the initial flat surface sanding, pivot the cabinet door to access its edges and any detailed or contoured areas. Switch to a finer grit sanding pad for this step, such as an Ekasilk 1/2" Sponge Ultra-Fine pad, still attached to the Ekasand 3x4 Sander. The sponge pad allows for more flexibility and precision when sanding intricate profiles and edges, ensuring a smooth, consistent finish that is critical for paint adhesion and overall aesthetic quality. Continue to use the vacuum system for dust collection throughout this process.

Goal: Smooth all edges and detailed areas of the cabinet door for a refined finish
