Drain Remaining Water from Faucet

What happens here

Once the main water supply is shut off, return to the outdoor faucet. Turn the handle of the hose bib counter-clockwise to open it fully, allowing any water remaining in the pipe to drain out. This ensures that the pipe is empty and reduces mess during the replacement.

Goal: After the main water supply is off, open the outdoor faucet to drain any residual water from the line, preparing for a dry removal process.
