What happens here
With the drive shaft removed, inspect all U-joints for play or stiffness. Identify the faulty U-joints. The video shows a severely worn U-joint that is almost completely seized and can't be moved by hand. This U-joint is confirmed to be the cause of the vibration. The U-joints are held in place by retaining rings (snap rings) on each side.
Goal: Assess the condition of the U-joints on the removed drive shaft.
