Finishing and Polishing Concrete

What happens here

Once the concrete has stiffened sufficiently but is still workable, specialized power trowels, specifically 'MQ Whiteman' brand, are brought in. Workers operate these walk-behind machines, which have spinning blades, across the surface of the concrete. This process is known as finishing or polishing and is done to create a dense, smooth, and durable surface that is resistant to abrasion and easy to clean. The finishing process is often repeated multiple times as the concrete continues to harden, gradually increasing the tilt of the blades to achieve the desired smoothness.
