Refining the Hoof Wall from the Top

What happens here

After addressing the bottom edge, reposition yourself and the horse's hoof to allow for rasping the hoof wall from the top down. Use the hoof rasp to smooth and refine the 45-degree angle and the 'mustang roll' created in the previous step. This ensures an even, smooth transition from the outer hoof wall to the sole, further preventing chipping and providing a balanced hoof shape.
