When I use the sniffer, I want to attach one wire to ground and the other wire to what the wire is that I want to locate, which in this case it's this one. Okay. So now I if I come close to this, watch. Look how far away I am. I hit reset. Watch as I get close. That's how strong this is. >> Yeah. This is why I don't like these for a beginner electrician cuz you really need to know how to use this. So I'm going to put this automatically on continuity. Okay. Okay. So I'm going to go on my wire. It'll beep, right? If it's a Well, let's put them together to make sure, right? Watch. Yep. >> Yep. So it's top two wires again. Nothing? Nothing? >> Okay. So we got to find out where that circuit is being fed from. Okay. Could it be the outlet? Could it Could it be this outlet? Uh no, there's only one wire in that outlet. It could be a home run that's not ready yet to be cuz there's only one wire in this and this is a 12 gauge. So that's a small appliance cuz this is the dining room. So this is a different room. This is lighting. Whenever we use one of these devices, it's always looking for the stronger signal, okay? So if we find the signal, say here, but it derives from further over, Yeah. it'll give us a reading here and it will keep giving us a reading until we find where it is. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to reset it.
