Apply Paint to Exposed Squares

What happens here

Stand on a sturdy Little Giant Jumbo Step ladder for safe access to higher areas of the wall. Using a paint roller, carefully apply the chosen paint color to the squares that are not covered by painter's tape. Dip the paint roller into the paint bucket, ensuring it's not overloaded, and apply even coats. Work systematically across the wall, making sure to achieve consistent coverage within each exposed square. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly according to the manufacturer's instructions before proceeding to the next step.

Goal: Paint the first set of squares to create a two-tone checkered pattern.
