Loading up logs with a mountain man!

What happens here

Before milling, logs must be selected and prepared. Eustace and the crew assess a fallen tree, identifying areas of rot and measuring for optimal lumber lengths. They decide on the best cuts to maximize usable lumber, aiming for 16-foot floor joists. Chainsaws are used to cut the large log into manageable segments. For logs that are not straight or have too much rot, they decide to process them for firewood to ensure nothing goes to waste.

Goal: Select and cut logs to maximize usable lumber
