every property is different right now we're at a site in Inver grve Heights Minnesota and we've got a front yard we've got a backyard that they want different levels of care taken to their backyard is very massive but they use it for four-wheelers and they use it for different things and so they don't want the same attention into detail as they want Street side now in this case in this property in Inver Grove Heights as we're Mowing and maintaining we're making sure that every detail is accounted for in the front of this person's property as we take the tour of this site that we just wrapped up uh we have the blower is cleaning the streets as you can see in the background he goes through the driveway make sure there's nothing left on the sidewalks make sure there's no grass clippings left anywhere on any of the hills because that leads to clumping which leads to just not a very good look so I'm just going to take you through this site we've already wrapped up the mowing it was a little bit wet and what he's doing now he's going through the entire yard because we had a little bit of rain before we came in he's going through the entire yard and he is blowing all of the grass clippings he's just loosening them up so they're not so Consolidated in one spot we go through the patio we do uh other things like this we know that this this uh customer has potential guests coming in we want to make sure that the patio is left clean in good shape as we walk to the backyard you'll see what I'm talking about this is where they have a swimming pool above ground swimming pool and they have um you know the four-wheeler this is where the kids play and so back here it's a different story this is for them they want it cut they want it trimmed but they really want a high level of care to the front yard and so we listen basically there's no secret to what we do on these sites you just listen you talk and Comm communicate with the customer here's a good example we were going to be here yesterday but one of the tires on the mower was sitting at about 10 lbs and the other tire was sitting at about 15 lb and that little bit of difference created an uneven pattern and before we were come in here and finish mowing a person's property doing something that we weren't comfortable with we decided call them up we'll come back tomorrow morning we're going to get this tire looked at we're going to make sure that everything is perfect and before we came out we did a test cut at my own house to make sure that the pattern met my expectations and cuz if it doesn't meet my expectations I'm not going to bring it out to a job site so here's the backyard you can see that they got a volleyball court they've got the four-wheeler that runs around here and so it's a matter of keeping it trimmed keeping it down low but it doesn't have to be perfect in the backyard he doesn't care about that as much as he does the front yard the entertainment area and so that's why we do the extra little things like make sure there's nothing that is UND done uh good example was I was uh eyeballing it I got down got down at the yard got down at grass level and looked across the plane to make sure that everything was done so here's a site in Inver Grove Heights we just wrapped it up every one of your customers is going to be different um and I'm just going to recommend to you to to have a conversation with them find out what it is they like and then what I'm I'm doing right now is just double-checking it just walking realking the site I've already had uh one of my guys walked the site once he's checked it out and now I'm walking the site again and we're going to make sure that everything is the way it should be so I'm out on this site in Inver Grove Heights I'm just doing my standard checking on everything make sure everything's right and I did notice an issue um as meticulous as we are sometimes stuff happens it's going to happen to you guys too out there you know it I know it my guy over here he accidentally mowed too far he mowed about oo 10 ft into the neighbor's property which means just cutting grass but now what I've got to do is call my customer let them know we mowed too far and excuse me he's cleaning up the street and on top of it see this is where we're supposed to end right about there and you can see technically he ended right there he just Mook this retaining wall here for the other one it can happen but now I'm going to go have a conversation with this homeowner just letting him know we accidentally mowed too far and um it's just good business principles I've never met them before so but at least I'll let them know what happened so they don't uh they're not wondering
