Its like glass but better 😎.
What happens here
The video opens with workers on an existing wooden patio or pergola frame. Before the translucent panels can be installed, the underlying frame must be prepared. This crucial step involves ensuring the wooden structure is level, sound, and robust enough to support the added weight of the new roof panels, as well as potential snow loads or wind uplift. Any necessary repairs, reinforcements, or adjustments to the existing joists should be completed at this stage. Subsequently, aluminum or similar support rails, which are visible as horizontal strips across the frame, are installed across the wooden joists. These rails are designed to hold the translucent panels in place and create the channels or grooves into which the panels will be seated. A worker is seen utilizing a power drill to meticulously secure these components to the frame, indicating the fastening process.
Goal: Ensure the existing frame is ready and install the necessary support structure for the translucent panels.
