Is This the Future of Lawn Mowing? OPINIONS WANTED!

What happens here

The presenter tackles a field of very tall, thick grass (8-9 inches deep) that would typically bog down a zero-turn mower. The Toro Z Master Revolution performs exceptionally well, cutting the dense grass without any noticeable power loss or bogging. This is attributed to its adaptive power system, which increases power when needed and conserves battery life otherwise. The presenter emphasizes the long warranty of the battery system (1500 hours/5 years, or 2 years unlimited hours), suggesting the drive system should outlast the chassis. He also notes the ease of replacing individual electric motors if one is damaged.

Goal: Assess the electric mower's power and efficiency in extreme conditions

be quiet, you can get out earlier and mow. In other words, your workday can start sooner and thus end sooner, and then you can spend more time with your family. Folks, stick around to the end. We're going to put it in some really tall grass, some really thick grass that you would never mow with a zeroturn mower, and we're just going to see how it performs. This mower is designed to increase its power when needed and decrease its power when it's not needed. That way, you're conserving battery. And again, it should last 7 plus hours up to 9 hours with an 8h hour charge time cycle. So you get home at the end of the day and you charge it up. If you're a large property owner like myself, typically I'm out in the summertime and I'm mowing 1 to two hours every other day. That gives me the opportunity to run this mower, charge it up, always keep it topped off and ready to rock and roll. And if we ever need to replace a battery, you can take it to your Toro service center and they will replace it. It has a 1,500h hour, 5-year warranty and a 2-year unlimited hour warranty. That's just unheard of. I've heard it actually mentioned that this machine should outlast the chassis. In other words, the drive systems and the motors in this machine should outlast a chassis. Now, if you hit something like a stump with one of these mower blades that's powered by an electric motor, you can simply replace the motor. There are no belts, there's no hydraulic fluid, there's no oil, there's no gasoline to worry about. I think it's an interesting concept. And gosh, for a large property owner like myself, this is going to be my goto mower. Plug it in in nighttime, get back out in the daytime, and start mowing. This thing is awesome. [Music] Well, can't argue with that. I think it was quiet. It was smooth. I learned some things about the Toro Revolution. It did a great job. By the way, it didn't stripe the yard. The yard was already striped from another mower that I uh have been using. This is going to be my all summer mower. What did I learn? I love love love being able to crank them blades up as fast as they will go. I tested it at slow speeds, medium speeds, and wide open blade speed. And buddy, this grass was deep. I'm talking about deep. Like 8 n in deep. And on high speed, insane. Stay tuned. By the way, we're going to take it through the cow pasture in grass this deep. What else did I learn? I learned the seat's super comfortable. I learned that I like that suspension part of it.…
