Prepare Glaze and Tools

[Music] Okay, now we've lightly sanded the lacquer on our door and we're going to begin applying our Van Dyke Brown Sherwood glaze. You'll be using just a few chip brushes. They're throwaway brushes. We'll be brushing it on and then just wiping it off to get the desired look that we want. There's two of us working on this door applying this glaze. So, it makes a pretty simple one. Just going to brush it on and then another person's going to wipe it off. And you got a little bit of working time. If you're working by yourself, just working, you know, small sections. I would do like half the side light, brush it on, and then wipe it off. But you've got you got, you know, about 30 minutes working time with this stuff before it dries. If it dries too fast, all you got to do is just rewet it with some more glaze and then you can begin, you know, working it around again. But just put is put a nice good heavy coat on, brushing it on, and then just begin wiping it off to achieve the desired look that you want.
