Drive Helical Piles with Hydraulic Excavator

What happens here

With the layout marked, the crew attaches the helical piles to the hydraulic drive of the mini excavator. A level is used to ensure the pile is plumb as it's driven into the ground. The excavator's hydraulic system rotates the pile, screwing it into the soil until the specified torque rating is achieved, ensuring structural integrity. The operator demonstrates the process, showing how the excavator can effectively penetrate the frozen topsoil with patience and consistent downward pressure.
