Sand Flat and Profiled Surfaces

What happens here

With the orbital sander (fitted with a flexible interface pad and sanding disc) in hand and the dust collection system activated, gently place the sander onto the flat central panel of the wooden cabinet door. Turn the sander on and move it in a slow, consistent, overlapping pattern across the entire flat surface, ensuring every area is evenly covered. Apply light, even pressure, allowing the sander to do the work. Once the flat areas are complete, transition to the profiled edges and intricate details of the door. Utilize the flexibility of the interface pad to conform the sanding disc to the contours, moving along the grain as much as possible. Continue sanding until the entire door, including both flat and detailed sections, feels smooth to the touch and appears uniformly prepared. Regularly check your progress by wiping away any residual dust and feeling the surface.
