Complete Hollow Core Tabletop

What happens here

Once the perimeter frame is secured, apply wood glue to the top edges of the internal wood strips. Carefully place them inside the frame to create internal support and prevent the tabletop from sagging. Secure these strips with a pneumatic nail gun as well. After the internal supports are in place, apply glue to all exposed top edges of the strips and place the second large plywood half on top. Secure this top plywood piece with a nail gun, creating a complete hollow core tabletop.

Goal: Construct a sturdy and stable hollow core tabletop.
