What happens here

This project provides detailed instructions on how to construct a circular, beehive-shaped firewood stack, also known as a Holzhausen stack, for efficient seasoning and storage. The process emphasizes proper ground preparation, a unique stacking technique to ensure stability, and the benefits of elevating firewood to prevent rot and promote airflow.

good morning one and all only a fool would believe that history never repeats itself only a fool would put your own fate in someone else's hands believing that they firmly have your best interests at heart and you guys are no fool and I'm no fool I believe that you have to have a backup plan to your backup plan I'm gonna go over mine today you guys have never known about this I've never talked about this before in any video this is a side of me that you're like oh dirt monkey going crazy no this is a side of me that has always been there but I've never shown it because a good backup plan the best backup plan you never reveal I'm starting to share things with you in my videos that I've never shared before and I don't know if I'm even should be doing this to be 100% honest with you but let's just dive into today's video all right good morning one and all it's wood processing day today how you doing Frankie where do that go I don't know he always buy his car okay so oh we got all the wood split we got all the wood felled blocked limed and split they say they when they say wood Heats you like five times that's actually what they're talking about we got a load of wood ready to go and uh we're going to get that brought out to uh where we're going and now we're going to stack it I'm going to be the first one to admit that wood is a dirty way to heat your home but it's an independent way to heat your home nobody can take that away from you as long as you got an Axe and you got trees you just got to have a way to cook that wood to heat your place Zach I'm going to have you show these guys a couple different ways to stack wood up north will you I'll try to yeah we'll do the way you did it just so they see it cuz you can't just pile the wood up if you just leave it piled up it'll rot you know it'll it'll freeze to the ground when it rains and snows on it it'll never season so you always got to season the wood one to two seasons I don't know how long do you season the wood for Frankie one year I do like this year I do for next year so you want to Stack it and you want to cover the top so that the wood can breathe but we'll show you what we're talking about I'll let Zach take it away from here all right we've made it to our destination and dumped one pile I got the trailer loaded with another pile this is what I've stacked up so far for all by my day Tang self which I shouldn't complain cuz is I'm getting paid to do it and Frankie does it and he's 60 something years older than me and he does it by himself he he goes out into the woods cuts the wood splits it and then he loads it into his truck Stacks it into his truck brings it to his house and then unstack it and puts it into another stack all by himself but I don't really like doing stuff solo I prefer teamw workk I grew up always having that in my mind for just teamwork there's no ey in team that's all all right so wa in order to keep our wood dry and off the ground and we're putting down some of these old dock pieces that we had and sticking those on the ground CU if you stick them wood just stray on the ground your bottom ones will all rot away you you could if you use it quickly enough then you could probably get away with stacking it just Square on the ground but if it's going to sit and season and they recommend putting stuff under underneath it so that way your wood can breathe and then it's not rotting away on the ground cuz otherwise you get bugs up into it and all that other stuff and it's just junk when you come to the bottom ones 13 minutes million Jews were killed by their government in the 1940s as you all know 20 million Chinese were killed by their government in the 1970s historically we've had over 56 million people slaughtered by their own governments in the last 100 years across this planet and a lot of people that live here in the United States think we're too big to fail we're too big to be attacked we're too big for the were too big for that well we were attacked on our own soil at Pearl Harbor just recently within the last 25 years we were attacked on our own soil when the Twin Towers fell when the Pentagon was attacked when airplanes were hijacked it was a different kind of attack but it was still an attack the United States of America is not too big to fail I I love this country but that doesn't mean I don't love my family more and want to make sure that no matter what I protect the people that I love the most now my backup plan is where I'm living right now is my cabin up north is being self-sufficient and not depending on someone else for my basic resources heat food water everywhere I go I have access to these things without having someone else spoon feeded out to me but what happens if the government gets completely corrupted which scares the crap out of me to say this is happening I think this government that we have right now is the most corrupted form of government we've ever had leading the United States of America since it was initially formed do you guys agree with me on that it's I believe that it started I noticed this shift starting when um 2008 we had this new Administration take over you know who took over in 2008 and instead of following the correct judicial processes he started to appoint Zars nicknamed them freaking Zars he didn't have to go through the judicial process of getting approval for these people he just said you're in you're in you're in you're in you're in and that was the beginning to me of the very initial stages of public socialism taking over and it's gotten progressively worse and I am not throwing the Democrats under the bus I am not throwing the Democrats under the bus because I firmly believe both parties have been completely compromised I firmly believe that the Republicans are ENT as entrenched in the corruption as the Democrats so this isn't a oh you're bad you're bad you're bad you're bad type of thing I believe that America is getting lost and we the people the IND individuals need to protect ourselves not just from something happening here within the United States but from our own government we need a bugout plan a way to get away from all of this and I I started mine 15 years ago I bought land down in Costa Rica I bought land in I bought 110 acres of jungle on a river Frontage which gave me the ability to SCU out of town drive because if the airplanes and the and the air system was compromised like they have been when The Two Towers fell air traffic was completely restricted and it's not the first time air air traffic has been completely restricted but when that those two towers fell and people wanted to get out of Dodge they couldn't at least where I the property I had in Costa Rica you could drive a vehicle from North America down there and get hidden away in the jungle and have fresh access to food have fresh access to water I even built a house down there now sad truth is it's pretty sad I've sold all of that and now I'm in the stages of starting over again and I got some ideas of where to go but this is where I need your help because there's got to be a perfect Safe Haven place where you you can get out of Dodge I mean and I hate saying get out of America but sometimes you got to get out of America to get safe all right good morning everybody another beautiful day up here at the northern cabin and as you can see we got some snow as you can probably catched yesterday a bit it was getting dark or by the time I had finished stacking the second and this uh corner piece right here for stacking this wood and I'm going to use this pile right here to stack up nice and neat right here Wrangler star or does like the circle one and and so I'm going to attempt to try that right here to the make it look nice and do a different style of stacking wood other than just snacking It Up Normally like this try a different way so I'm going to attempt that after I get this all cleared out so I have room here and then I'm going to use this pile right here to sack up here so just sit back and enjoy they'll throw some music on or whatever cuz I'm going to throw it on a time lapse oops and just go to work so up North this is my bugout shelter I have a hand pump well so and I have a lake I have ammunition I've got 140 Acres that I can go hunting on um but it's still in the United States of America and as much as I love the United States of America I do not trust our government in any way shape or form I don't feel they have our best interests at heart I worry about what I see happening and I'd like to find someplace outside of America that a person could go and find a safe haven so if you have any recommendations outside of America where you can go and be safe I'm all yours all right so we've gotten all this stacked up got two Corner ends made so that way everything will hold itself together or this one took a little time cuz sitting on a little bit of an angle like everything from literally up where those logs are up there start sloping straight down to the lake so it is very hard to have anything flat at all here until you get down towards the like then it evens out and then it goes back to being sloped again you had to pick the the sloppiest cabin stand didn't you I found the least slopy part and this is where I'm going to try and build this circle thing that Wrangler star is I had I had to look the video up last night and then I had to look it up a little bit it while just a bit ago just to figure out what my diameter is he says to measure out 5et from your Center Point which is this steak right here and then I've measured out under this rope up to this knot right here and then I'm going to etch out a circle so that way you get your perfect circle and then go about stacking it up the way he showed it in the video so it's just first time doing this so just so you'll be learning this together if anybody else has any other suggestions or know something that I don't know put down in the comments cuz I don't know Stan probably doesn't know and other people around the world probably does not know what you know we have the collective of the internet these days and the collective of society have everyone learn from someone else's experience that can teach somebody else to do something else so if that makes any sense so all right I've been rambling I need to get to work so you're just going to sit on the time lapse and call it a day let me ask you guys something is it crazy to want to be self-sufficient is it crazy to not want to put your fate in someone else's hands to not just blindly trust that somebody else is going to have your best interests at heart is that really that crazy now I have my self-sufficient plan here in the United States and that's coming it's coming together pretty good and I had it in Costa Rica and I chose Costa Rica very strategically and I'm going to share with you exactly why I chose Costa Rica there was a number of things that Drew me to that country uh from its infrastructure to its education to its its military but there's a number of deficiencies in that country as well so there's reasons why I [Music] left all right so you want to start with some of your flatter pieces up here here and just keep going around in a circle then some of your bigger pieces here you want to set down here cuz we're on a bit of a slope so that way it sits and evens itself out because Costa Rica is reachable by land from the United States so if I ever needed to bug out I could drive all the way down down to my facility in case there were no airplanes running with 140 acres of land it was right on a river Frontage I had access to free drinkable water I had enough land that I could hunt that I could set up my own uh system and that I could live independently so this concept that I'm talking to you about as a place to bug out to is not new now I'm just I recently just sold my or I'm actually in the process right now of selling my land down in Costa Rica because I found out that they can extradite people the United States of America has zero problem extraditing people from Costa Rica meaning they can come down and nag you and take you away at any point the benefit of Costa Rica is not only is a gorgeous country but um they're very friendly to the United to Americans and the reason they're friendly to Americans is because it's one of the few countries that we haven't forcefully invaded Panama we've forcefully invaded Nicaragua we've set up we've had we we've had hardships against Nicaragua but Costa Rica on the other hand actually voluntarily gave up here's a big mistake they made they voluntarily gave up their own military in exchange for the United States of America providing them worldwide protection what the Costa Ricans or the tikos have done since then is taken all that money that they would would have invested into their military and they invested it into the education of their citizens so they have one of the highest literacy rates of anywhere in the world Costa Rica is an amazing friendly place and I may end up reinvesting back down in there but there's a different place that I was looking at going just for the sake of exploring this great big world and that's the Philippines so let's talk about that in just a minute [Music] all right so now we got the perimeter all circled out but now we take some of this smaller stuff like this and then we stack it like so on the seams and then we keep filling it out all the way around and and then we just keep stacking up and up and up and higher and higher from there so yeah just slowly but surely so I originally got interested in the Philippines because of my Uber driver he lived there but moved to the United States just to make a bunch of money so he could move back to the Philippines and live like a king he says he can't make money there but you can buy a mansion on the ocean for $100,000 and have a livein cook and made for $200 a month all right an important aspect also keep in mind when you are stacking this up is you need to make sure when you stack it that you got to put a log on the seams and then fill in between it I mean it's just something I think it's just something with the pressure or whatever it keeps it from all splitting apart and then and when if your pile starts getting wants to lean outwards you takes some of the smaller stuff set like so I'll show it later on and but then you put that here and then stack it on top of another one on top of here so that way it's more leaning back towards the inner part of the pile cuz if you just keep going up and up and up not stacking it so it leans back like this like I don't know if the camera will show it but you can see some of those are leaning back if we just stacked them all so they were just straight vertical eventually it's going to want to lean and fall over trust me been there done that so but yeah I'll show that when I get later on I get some other stuff but I just wanted to get that right there so just in case if I forget to do it or something so all right back to the Tim lapse so I took this interest to in the Philippines to the the next level and I started to Google some basic facts about it and I learned pretty quick that you can live for 73% Less in the Philippines than the cost of living is in the United States and I seen a YouTube video where a guy had nine different medicines medications and he only paid $32 a month for those medications in the Philippines you can't beat that all right it after a short break to warm up cuz it's a little cold out here her uh all right before I was so rudely interrupted by the battery stinking dying on the camera GoPro you still can't get your batteries to not eat up I'm going to go get the mini loader load up a bucket worth dump it in the center of this cuz they actually recommend filling up the center of this as well for stability around the sides so we probably going to run out of wood real fast before I even get up very high because some of them will be up to like five feet high yeah well I think we're going to run out of wood but we got a lot more wood we just need to bring that up and put more in here and this thing is going to get look really good and really big he but I'm going to go get the mini loader and load up the bucket oh excuse me and dump into the center of that so I can pick it out of there and build around the sides I think for just sheer looks and just tidiness this circle stack of wood is amazing way to do it but I wish Zach would have put a floor in the bottom of it he forgot to put the pallets down in the center so that bottom wood is going to be sacrificed unfortunately but the good part is in in Li of that in this area it's super Sandy and it is on a slope so there isn't shouldn't be a whole lot of water just sitting there but how do you guys stack your wood do you Circle stack do you do you uh straight stack how do you do it do you got your own [Music] technique you guys see that cast mini loader in the background that has become our favorite goto tool we love that mini loader and I would have never thought that I mean it's so small but that thing is so I just love that mini loader I could not maintain this property without that machine we use it for everything from moving couches and Furniture to setting beams and roofs to stacking wood to carrying out brush I mean it's an it it's just become our go-to machine for just about everything and the benefit is it doesn't wreck any grass you can drive over just about out anywhere without wrecking Turf with this machine and no they're not paying me to say this I don't have any obligation I just legitimately love this freaking little machine [Music] a all right so we got all the woods gone brought of wood he and this is what we got so far I could probably go up another couple of rows but then she's getting pretty big but yeah that's how you make a oh what the heck is it uh holes housing is what I found on the internet when I looked up these things is it something German so what you do you make a circle and then when she starts leaning back and stuff you put these little pieces in and then you get them to tip back up so that way it doesn't lean forward and you do that throughout whenever you need it and then you fill the center up with just random wood and then you can easily grab it too from there as you're building it up if you keep filling up the center of it I recommend though like using like your junk wood or whatever your really twisted naughty stuff your really short stuff just throw that in the center of it cuz then then you're not wasting all your good wood piling it up in the center that you really can't get at unless you pull a side apart which I have no clue how you take these things apart I've only seen them built so that'll be an experience but all right that's it for today got all this wood stacked up and whatnot got to do a little bit of clean up on the ground and then I don't know I got to bring the trailer back we got snow coming so I still got a long Las of things to do but you guys go see something else and then Stan will put in something whatever right here so I leave it over to you and Stan and Danny you know I had a guy call me crazy to my face because of my backup plan to my backup plan do you guys think it's that crazy and I if if I don't care if you do or you don't that's fine I just don't care anymore um but I'd love to hear your backup plan what do you guys do to get out of Dodge are you staying in the United States do you have an ability to get out of this country there's more and more people that have the ability to get out of this country they see the writing on the wall but that's going to cover it for today if you guys want to hear more about backup plans what I'm doing and things that I've never shown before in my videos just let me know in the comments down below but now it's your turn to share I need to hear what you plan on doing if the hits the fan and stuff goes south and…
