What happens here

After a tree is felled, the next step is to process it on the ground. This involves two main actions: limbing and bucking. Limbing is the removal of all branches from the main trunk using a chainsaw. Once delimb, the main trunk is then cut into shorter, manageable lengths, a process known as bucking. The mini excavator plays a crucial role here by lifting and positioning logs off the ground, which makes cutting easier, safer, and prevents the chainsaw from hitting dirt or rocks, preserving chain sharpness. These bucked logs are typically cut to sizes suitable for splitting into firewood, stacking for future projects, or transport.

Goal: Convert felled trees into usable logs and clear branches.
