Install New Toilet Seat

Unpack the new 'Kohler' toilet seat. He then demonstrates the mounting hardware: a bolt that screws into a plastic expansion nut. Insert the new mounting bolts into the bolt holes from the top of the toilet. Align the new toilet seat over the bolts. While holding the expansion nut underneath the toilet bowl to prevent it from spinning, use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the bolts from the top until the seat is firmly secured. Finally, snap the decorative caps over the bolt heads to cover them.
