What happens here

Prepare the concrete floor by grinding it with a specialized concrete grinder. This process removes old stains, creates a uniform surface, and opens up the pores of the concrete, which is crucial for proper adhesion of the epoxy coating. After grinding, thoroughly vacuum the entire floor to remove all dust and debris. Then, apply a two-part epoxy floor coating (Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Garage Floor Coating Kit) evenly across the prepared concrete. While the epoxy is still wet, broadcast decorative flakes across the surface for added aesthetics and slip resistance. Allow the epoxy to cure for at least 24 hours before walking on it, and longer before driving on it.

Goal: Install a durable and attractive epoxy floor coating.
