What happens here
Greg introduces the Crimson Dynamics CDYB Fit, a passively powered exoskeleton with elastic elements running down to elastic thigh cuffs. A unique cross-member pivots with movement, preventing restriction. This is one of the more affordable back support units (around $995). Nikki tries it on. Greg demonstrates adjusting the straps by pulling a 'pig-tail' strap to pre-tension the elastic bands. Nikki tests squatting and feels the support primarily from her thighs, but less for leaning forward. Greg mentions that the elastic placement affects effectiveness for different motions. He also highlights that a proper fit and full charge can provide up to 64 lbs of lifting assistance, making it a comfortable and washable option.
Goal: Understand and test the Crimson Dynamics CDYB Fit for lifting and movements.
