I Put a Temgo Lithium Battery in My Golf Cart (Best Mod Ever?)
What happens here
After physical installation, the Bluetooth app for the Temgo battery is downloaded from the App Store on a smartphone. The battery is powered on using its included switch, and the app is used to pair with the battery. This allows for real-time monitoring of voltage, current draw, state of charge, and temperature directly from the phone. A quick final check is performed to ensure all connections are tight, no tools are left in the battery compartment, the strap is snug, and cables are routed cleanly without rubbing on anything sharp. The golf cart seat is closed. The golf cart is powered up and driven, immediately showing improved performance. The cart reaches top speed (26 mph) quickly and feels lighter and faster, with stable voltage and temperature readings, even under sustained load. This contrasts sharply with the struggling performance of the old lead-acid batteries.
Goal: Configure battery monitoring and test the golf cart's performance with the new lithium battery.
