So this is something I've not actually shared with anybody before. So this is You guys are getting an exclusive behind-the-scenes. I'm going to show you everything that I'm doing, that I've done. The first thing that catches my eyes is the colorfulness of your gym and all the art everywhere. Why do you have so much pictures and it looks like a lot of anime like Dragon Ball and I see some bodybuilders over there? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I always told my wife, "Someday I'm going to have my own art collection." And I realized, "What am I waiting for?" And so, the day has come. And then I realized the art that I actually I I just look at what am I drawn to? What do I look at? And this is what I enjoy. This is what I appreciate. It's anime. I love I love the entire the whole genre that whole thing. You know, it's the story behind it and it's the struggle with anime and it's the the realism. You never know what's going to happen. So, everything that's in here is kind of like a reflection of something. >> This is inspiring. I don't know. I don't want to sound scripted or anything, but this is just insane. I love it. If I when I get a home gym someday, I definitely want to get a art collection. Get my own art collection. >> It's It's a little nerdy, but again, I don't care. It's for me. >> Right. Okay. Well, I guess we're going to start out with what's your favorite art that you have or what's your favorite photo? >> Uh um I think Prophet right here. This one is my favorite. I think uh I think that's got to be one of my I mean, I love all of these, especially like some of these were so hard to find. Like this one, there's only two of them that I know that exist. >> Really? >> Yeah, and it's just a freaking poster, but again, it goes down back to the collection like how how do you find and acquire a collection? And then I look at some of these other ones like we've got Vegeta here. We've got Goku over here. You can't find those pictures anywhere. So, when you find them, you're like, "Score!" >> Right. Yeah. Totally. >> And then my favorite artist is Dale Keown, I think how you pronounce. So, then we come around here and all of these have like a history. When we look at like Sabretooth and Wolverine, that goes back to the days when I was uh you know, again, about your age and me and the boys were hanging out and we were just we were we were a wild bunch of guys, right? >> Yeah. >> And so one of my buddies he says, "I'm Wolverine." The other one was like, "I'm Sabretooth." So you go back to the days of just like brings back good memories. >> Totally, yeah. >> And then my favorite bodybuilders are over here and they're mostly old school. Most of them are old school. We've got Jay Cutler doing the quad stomp here. But we've got Ronnie Coleman right here. He's just phenomenal. I love Ronnie Coleman. >> Right. >> And all icons of the bodybuilding world. >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> And then we look my son's one of my son's favorite is Chris Bumstead. And so he turned me on to Chris Bumstead and the whole the new genre because I got I got away from the bodybuilding aspect cuz when I was your age I was reading every bodybuilding There was no social media. I was reading buying every magazine. I had stacks of magazines. I had the workout books. Like they would have books. >> Right. >> That's crazy to think of this day. Everything's online >> now. >> I know. Everything is just right there. So when I got I you know I found him and I'm like, "Oh yeah." Now I can tell because we've got the mass monster physique and then one picture of Jesus, you know, I don't have pictures all over them because there's only one God who rules all. I only need one picture of Jesus. Everything else is just a story. >> Yeah. >> You know, you only need one. >> that, man. >> Uh-huh. >> One God. >> Yep. >> Yeah, if you guys didn't know, Stan is a big advocate of faith, Christianity. >> Yep. >> So that's another reason why we love this guy. >> So yeah, uh you know, you're not going to see a ton of different workout equipment here, Harvey, but you see space. And to me one of the things that I learned a long time ago is moving your body through space is one of the best workouts you can do. >> Right. >> But there's certain targeted things that you're going to want to do. Like I started with just this one piece of workout equipment right here, the squat rack right here. >> Right. >> Right? And now that is in the kind of like in the back that I don't use. I use it for forearms and >> that's it. That's the only thing I use it for. >> Yeah, just a bicep curl. >> But that's what I started with and then for machines, I can accomplish everything I want on here with this machine, which is a variable Smith machine. Have you ever seen anything like this? >> I've never seen one in person. >> So it's a Smith machine that rope can go 360 through space. >> Wow. Holy moly. >> You try it. >> I've never seen anything like it. >> And then that this was a gold that was like a gold mine for me. >> And where would you find something like this? >> I found it at second-hand equipment. I think it's called Johnson Fitness now or something like that. Every every move in at Planet Fitness, almost every machine at Planet Fitness can be played. I can do calves with this machine. Absolutely do back, traps, shoulders, biceps. I can do hack squats with this machine. I put a weight belt on it, strap it around. I can now I put it on the floor. I learned this from Chris Bumstead. I can do now Russian squats with this machine. Almost everything in some way, shape or form can be duplicated with a single machine. But what can't be, the second machine that I use all the time is this one. And this one actually is just so and I wish I wish it had a better weight system on it. It's not perfect. But like this machine has the dual arm. So you can adjust it and you can widen it out. So you can do so many different exercises with just this single machine. >> That's crazy. I love that. >> Mhm. >> The versatility of your machines is awesome. Like you said, it opens up the space in your gym so you don't have to have everything crowded. >> Yep. That machine blew me away. The multi-variable like XYZ. >> Yep. >> This thing >> machine. >> Smith machine. >> Yeah. >> But, this is cool, too. I wish you'd see more stuff like this in gyms these days. Obviously, we have body bodybuilding gyms and other professional lifting gyms, but all the commercial gyms like Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, Crunch, um Lifetime. You don't see a lot of cool machines like this. >> Well, you see a lot of very specific movements, specific machines. >> Right. Correct. >> And that's because the general populace needs that guidance. People like to have a formula. Most people aren't entrepreneurs >> Right. >> because they prefer to have a strict structure in their life. So, they prefer to go to a 9:00 to 5:00 job where they know they can punch in at a certain time and they can punch out at a certain time. And when you go to a workout place, instead of having something where you have to use your imagination and get creative, they have everything guided for you. You want to do biceps? Here's one machine that does biceps. >> Right. >> You want to do triceps? One machine does triceps. Does nothing else. >> Right. >> You want to do abs this one certain way? Well, here you go. Here's the one machine that will do it. But, everything can be duplicated in a home gym. Look at Anatoly. You know who Anatoly is? >> The guy that with the mop that goes around and Yeah. >> Yeah, the heavy mop. >> The heavy mop guy. Anatoly is perfect. When you look at his history, where he came from, he started out with a bench and he had rims and cement blocks on it. No way. >> Did you know that? >> I did not know that. >> That's how he started. Arnold Schwarzenegger started the exact same way. So, these guys didn't have the equipment. Heck, when I first started lifting when I was like 10, 12 years old, I had two jugs of water. And that's That's how I didn't have a single weight to my name. And that's when I started. And my workout, we ended up taking over a garage. It was a a potato warehouse in the bottom of a garage. So, they used to throw potatoes under the ground to keep them cool. >> Okay. >> Me and my buddy Chad Anderson cleaned that out and we turned it into a workout shop. We built our own tricep rack, so we had a pulley in the ceiling. >> Right. Okay. >> And another pulley in the ceiling, we wired a cable and then we built our own tricep push down machine. I still have some of the weights right here. >> Oh, man. >> steel plates that we just cut out of steel. I still I still have the originals from when I was a kid. >> plate of steel. >> Just big plates of steel. >> Wow. >> Yeah, that's all you needed That's all you needed. You can You can accomplish everything you need, whether you go to a home gym or whether you got a nice home gym or you go to a workout facility. It doesn't make a difference as long as you want to achieve it, it's fundamentally achievable. >> Right. >> Mhm. >> I love that. >> And I had arthritis so bad in both of my shoulders, I couldn't do a push-up. >> Really? >> I could not do a push-up. It wasn't from weakness, it was from the fact that as soon as I got down to do a push-up, my shoulders would ache. It was a raw ache. And then something switched in me and I I just went carnivore. Pure meat. For about 8 months and I got so skinny so fast that I got down to the weight I was in ninth grade. >> Really? >> And I'm like, I got to do something. I can't be this skinny anymore. But the arthritis went away. >> Interesting. >> Mhm. >> Wow. >> Just from eating pure meat. I didn't eat any carbs whatsoever. >> not taking any medication? >> Nothing. >> Wow. >> No, no, I don't take any medications at all. >> Yeah, that's the wonders of just natural like natural eating. >> Diet. >> Diet, food, what you intake in your body is what reflects how you feel. >> Yeah. There's a certain technique you use to get it on. You're not just going to lift this over your head and put it on. >> You would never know unless you had one. >> Yeah. All right. And when you do this, you want to strap the the bottom thing real tight. >> Okay. >> Okay? And then we're just going to see how many push-ups we can do with 60 lbs. >> Okay. >> I'll start and then you get to beat me. >> Okay. >> You get to show the world how much stronger you are. >> I don't know about that, but we'll see. >> All right. Holy crap. >> That was good. >> Oh, man. >> Here, this is one of my favorite pieces of recovery equipment. This is actually a red light sauna. It's an infrared sauna. At first, Harvey, I thought these things were just full of malarkey. >> Right. >> I mean, I I really did. >> Totally baloney. >> Yeah. And I I got one, put it up, and I sat in it for the first night. And it's got a red light right here. So, you turn this on, and you hit the button. And I'll just demonstrate it for you here. So, >> Nice glass bowl. >> you got you got this bright red light here, and then I hooked up a second red light. So, I got red light here. I got red light there. I'll turn these off. So, >> Holy moly. >> Yeah. >> My eyes are just dilating when they're on. >> it has far infrared, near infrared, and red light. So, you use these three different wavelengths. And what sold me on it was the first night I used it, I'd worked all week long, put a 55 60-hour weekend. Friday night came, jumped in it, and it was 4:00. Sat in it for 30 minutes. Got out and I felt nothing. I felt nothing. I'm like it didn't work. I went to the gym, came back and I'm like, let's try it again. >> Mhm. >> I jumped in it again for 30 minutes after the gym. So like now I'm a long week plus working out, I should be pretty much physically exhausted. >> Right, yeah. >> I think I went to bed at 5:00 that morning. I could not sleep. >> Really? >> I was I was out rehabbing the barn. I'm up putting sheetrock up and trim up and installing windows and Colton comes out at 3:00 in the morning. He said, "What are you doing?" I'm like, "I can't sleep." The next day, I went back into the sauna for just 30 minutes and I ended up staying up till 3:00 a.m. that morning. >> Really? >> Yeah, my what I what I discovered was the energy level stays consistent. It's not like a sugar spike, it's not like a caffeine spike, it's not like you get this huge rush. You just have consistent recovery throughout the day. >> Really? >> And it was a combination of carnivore diet with red light which taught me that I no longer had these rampant highs and lows. Everything had balanced out. >> Okay. >> Mhm. >> Really? >> Mhm. >> Okay, I really never knew the benefits of red light and experienced it myself. Never tried it out. Heard people talk about it. >> Yep. >> So it's definitely a recommend recommend. >> It's a red light It's near infrared, far infrared and red light. So this this is called a heavenly heat sauna and it uses all combinations and I fell so much in love with the entire red light concept that I realized that they only have the panel right here. >> Right. >> So I modified it and put a second panel above my head so that I can get consistent uh exposure throughout. >> Right. >> But saunas in general, so now I have this one as as one form of a sauna. >> Mhm. >> Outside I have an actual wood-fired sauna, the old Finnish style sauna. >> Really? >> to go take a look at that? >> I'd love to. >> All right, let's go. >> Let's do it. >> But here we go. Now, so we're still looking at a sauna, but there's something called a heat shock protein that you get from going into a sauna, and this is entirely different than the inside sauna. So, we need to understand what the difference is. When you go into this inside sauna, you're getting wavelengths. You're still getting heat, but…
