What happens here

With the log splitter set up and the engine running, the presenter begins splitting the hickory log rounds into firewood. He demonstrates loading a large round onto the loading tray, lifting it onto the splitting platform, and then engaging the hydraulic ram to push the log against the 6-way wedge (which he incorrectly calls a 12-way wedge). The wedge effectively splits the log into multiple pieces simultaneously.
