Insert Hole Plug into Countertop

What happens here

Carefully insert the prepared hole plug into the desired hole in the countertop from the top. Apply firm, even pressure to push the plug down as far as it can go, ensuring the plumber's putty creates a tight seal against the countertop surface. The excess putty will squeeze out from underneath the flange.

Goal: Seat the prepared hole plug firmly in the countertop hole.
