🎶 I get by with a little help from my @prowood scrap 🎶#build #deckdesign #framing #construction

What happens here

With the spacer jig prepared, begin installing the deck boards. Position the first deck board (or the next board in sequence) onto the deck joists. Place the spacer jig against the previously installed board (or a reference line for the first board) and then butt the new deck board against the jig. This ensures a consistent gap between boards. Using the impact driver, drive wood screws through the deck board and into the underlying deck joists at regular intervals. Repeat this process, moving the jig along as each board is secured, ensuring consistent spacing and a straight run of decking.

Goal: Securely attach deck boards with consistent spacing
