What happens here

To prepare for setting up temporary electric fences, the presenter shows how to wind the InteliBraid polybraid wire onto a Speedrite reel. He inserts a piece of 1x oak wood through the center of the polybraid spool and places it on a makeshift stand on his ATV. He then feeds the end of the polybraid through the Speedrite reel, ties it off with a granny knot (or square knot), and begins winding. He explains that the Speedrite reel is geared, making winding fast. A crucial tip is provided: do not wind the polybraid all the way to the edges of the reel; leave about half an inch of space on each side to prevent the wire from coming off or becoming tangled later. He also highlights the reel's design, which allows it to be hung onto either a hot wire (energizing the entire reel) or an insulated handle (keeping the reel cold).

Goal: The presenter demonstrates how to correctly load polybraid wire onto a Speedrite reel for safe and efficient use in rotational grazing. He emphasizes the importance of proper winding and leaving space on the reel to prevent wire entanglement.
