What happens here
The farmer removes the temporary electric fence from the previous grazing area. He uses a Strainrite geared reel to quickly wind up the poly electric wire and collects the temporary fence posts. He emphasizes the benefits of intensive rotational grazing for improving soil health and grass growth. He explains that by feeding hay in a section with poor soil, the bedding and manure left behind help to heal the land. He highlights that this strategy prevents overgrazing, allowing the grass to recover and thrive.
Goal: Efficiently remove temporary electric fencing from the old pasture.
