What happens here

Begin by marking the desired location and height for your television. Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for secure mounting. Tape off the area to protect the surrounding wall. Next, install the TV wall mount bracket to the studs. Plan and mark the locations for cable routing behind the TV and for future recessed components. Use a drill with a large spade bit or hole saw to create openings in the drywall for cables to pass through the wall. Cut larger rectangular openings in the drywall for any planned recessed shelving or cabinetry sections using a drywall saw or utility knife.

Goal: Prepare the wall for TV mounting, cable management, and recessed components.
