Acclimatizing and Releasing Koi into the Outdoor Pond

I Bought Rare Fish.. And Got JACKED!
What happens here
To safely introduce the newly arrived koi into the outdoor Aquascape ecosystem pond, the plastic bag containing the fish is floated on the surface of the pond water. This allows the water temperature in the bag to gradually equalize with the pond water, minimizing thermal shock for the fish. After a period of temperature equalization, the creator gently picks up each koi from the bag and releases it into the pond. He avoids pouring the bag water into the pond to prevent introducing potentially different water parameters or contaminants. The pond itself is a self-sustaining ecosystem with tropical and hardy water lilies, designed by Aquascape, that naturally filters the water, requiring minimal mechanical maintenance.
Goal: Safely introduce healthy koi to a natural outdoor pond environment.
