I Bought an Abandoned Man Lift… It’s Worse Than I Thought!
What happens here
Use a rope to guide the new hydraulic line through the boom's internal channels, connecting it from the pump system to the hydraulic cylinder. Ensure the rope is securely tied to the new line. Connect the new hydraulic line to the hydraulic pump system using appropriate line wrenches. Loosely connect the other end of the hydraulic line to the hydraulic cylinder. Before fully tightening, activate the hydraulic pump briefly to purge any air or remaining debris, collecting the fluid in a container if necessary. Finally, use line wrenches to fully tighten all connections.
Goal: Replace the faulty hydraulic line and ensure a clean, sealed system
