I am so glad we just went with the clear coat!

What happens here

Once the entire ceiling has been stained and sufficient drying time has passed, carefully remove any painter's tape and drop cloths from the surrounding areas. Clean the paintbrush immediately after use with the appropriate solvent (e.g., mineral spirits for oil-based stains or soap and water for water-based stains) to preserve it for future projects. Allow the stain to fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions, which may take several days. Finally, conduct a thorough inspection of the ceiling for any missed spots or areas that need minor touch-ups. The latter part of the video beautifully showcases the finished, uniformly stained porch ceiling, complete with installed lighting and a ceiling fan, ready to be enjoyed.

Goal: Clean up the work area, properly care for tools, and ensure the ceiling is perfectly finished and cured.
