The installation process begins with thorough preparation of the concrete substrate. As shown in the video, loose debris and dust are removed by vacuuming the entire floor surface. For optimal adhesion and a long-lasting finish, it is crucial to perform additional surface preparation, such as diamond grinding or acid etching, to create a proper profile (CSP 1-3) on the concrete. Any cracks, divots, or other imperfections in the concrete should also be repaired and leveled before proceeding with the epoxy application.
