How to use Reusable Caulking Tubes from Tower Sealants. Innovative painting tools.

this is christy idaho painter here on paint live tv today i'm going to be showing you how to use tower sealants reusable caulking tube now the tube you're going to have a caulking tube just like this you may get a two pack that has two of these in it you're going to get a cap the cap could be metal or plastic and you're also going to get multiple nozzles just like this a nozzle just screws right on the top of the cap right here this cap is going to be inserted on the top of your tube right here but prior to putting it in you're going to want to put a sausage pack inside your tube now the tubes or the sausage packs come just like this and they got a band on top of them that keep the caulking inside the sausage pack i like just using a pair of wire cutters and wire cutters just cut it fast and easy if you have scissors you can use scissors you can use a knife if you want to use a knife the wire cutters work really really easy for you the sausage patch just slips right down inside the tube cut side is up and then your nozzle and your cap is gonna slip right on top of that and now this is just gonna slip inside any caulking gun whatever caulking gun you like to use your favorite caulking gun it's probably going to work for this reusable caulking tube just like that now it's going to function just like any other tube of caulking and caulking gun it's very simple and easy to use okay now your caulking gun just operates functions like any other caulking gun that you've used in the past it's got tower sealants and caulking in it which pop free amazing caulking not going to get splatters one of their trademarks so i'm going to dispense all the caulking's going to show you now how you switch out and put in a new sausage pack so my caulking tube my sausage pack is completely empty just like any regular caulking gun just gonna pull the tube out i like to just hang my caulking gun on my belt right there the sausage pack dispense it just falls right out that's the dispense sausage now i'm going to take another sausage pack i'm going to drop this right inside there and i'm going to clip once again the ring right off the top like using wire cutters then i'm going to drop it down cut ends at the top drop my cap in now i'm just going to reinstall that right in my caulking gun just like that now i'm ready to start caulking again very simple easy changeover so your caulking tube is going to come with multiple nozzles and then the nozzles themselves aren't pre-cut so it's got a sealed in the nozzle just screws right on top of your cap right here now you can use your caulking gun itself the blade on the caulking gun to cut your nozzle open or you can just use a knife i like just using a knife because i get a good clean cut and i cut it at a 45 degree angle so now you can have multiple tips different sizes cut for different scenarios or situations you're using or if the one nozzle big or tip begins to wear out you can just switch it out to a new one very simple and easy to do they just screw on and off just like that so at the end of the day when you're done using your reusable caulking tube you're going to want to take your tube out and then you're going to take your cap off and your tip off and you're going to just drop that in water so it doesn't dry out and um you know ruin your cap and nozzle once i come back the next day i just pull it out of the water i'm just going to stick it right back on and just begin right where i left off again so there you have it how to use the reusable caulking tube from tower sealants a very innovative product hopefully your experience is going to be as good as mine
