What happens here
With the drill bit securely mounted and aligned in the chuck, insert the chuck into the 'sharpen' port on the front of the Drill Doctor 750X. Turn on the power switch. Begin sharpening by gently pushing the chuck into the port and rotating it slowly in a clockwise direction. Perform approximately 10 half-turns, listening for the consistent grinding sound. Once one side is sharpened, remove the chuck, rotate it 180 degrees, and repeat the process for the other cutting edge. Continue until both sides are evenly sharpened and a consistent burr is formed along the cutting edge. Visually inspect the tip to ensure both edges are sharp and symmetrical.
Goal: Restore the main cutting edges of the drill bit.
