Refill Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid

What happens here

Locate the hydraulic/transmission fluid fill port, which is often near the seat or rear of the tractor. Remove the cap or dipstick. Use a specialized fill can with a flexible spout or a funnel with a pump to add fresh John Deere Hy-Gard hydraulic fluid. The tractor's capacity for this fluid is substantial (e.g., 5 gallons or more). Add fluid incrementally, checking the dipstick frequently to avoid overfilling. The fluid level should be between the designated marks on the dipstick. Reinstall the cap/dipstick when finished.

Goal: Add fresh hydraulic/transmission fluid to the correct level.
