Reconnect Water Supply and Test

What happens here

Reconnect the flexible water supply line to the threaded stem of the new fill valve at the bottom of the tank. Hand-tighten the connection first, then use a wrench or pliers for a final snug tightening, again being careful not to overtighten. Once the supply line is connected, slowly turn the water supply valve (clockwise) back on. Observe the toilet tank as it fills to ensure the new fill valve shuts off the water flow at the appropriate level. Flush the toilet to confirm proper operation and check for any leaks around the new connections.
