How To Remove Levolor Style Blinds. Blind Removal Hacks.
What happens here
Once both clips are released, gently slide the headrail out of the mounting brackets. The blind will now be completely free. To prepare it for storage and ensure easy reinstallation, wrap the lift and tilt cords around the bundled slats or secure them with a twist tie to prevent tangling. Then, apply a piece of masking tape to the blind's headrail (preferably on the top or back where it won't be visible when reinstalled) and use your Sharpie marker to clearly label its original location (e.g., 'Living Room - Center'). This ensures the correct blind goes back into the correct window.
Goal: Safely remove the blind and mark its original location
