How to raise chickens in your own back yard!

What happens here

After transferring all the chicks, slide the roof panel back into place to secure the mobile coop. Use a small wooden block to elevate the waterer slightly, ensuring it remains level on potentially uneven ground and prevents water spillage. The chicks will initially be hesitant but will soon begin exploring the grass, foraging for bugs, worms, and dirt. After two or three days in one spot, the coop will be moved to a fresh patch of grass daily. In about 8-12 weeks, the birds will be ready for processing, having naturally fertilized the lawn throughout their stay.

Goal: Ensure the coop is secure, chicks are settled, and begin rotational grazing
