The mobile coop is designed with a sliding corrugated metal roof panel. This panel can be easily slid back to create an opening. Through this opening, place the feeders and waterers inside the coop. The host uses a 'Brower Mobile Coop type feeder' made of PVC, designed to prevent chickens from raking out feed. For the waterer, a 5-gallon bucket system with a lid is used, which dispenses water into a small tray. Ensure the waterer's overflow notch is pointing downhill if on a slope, to prevent accidental spills. Motion lights are installed around the coop's perimeter to deter predators at night.
