How To Paint A Fence / Make An Ugly Fence Look New
What happens here
Wearing a respirator and gloves for safety, use the airless sprayer with a gun extension to apply stain to the fence panels. While spraying, use the cardboard shield holder to hold a cardboard shield against the bottom of the fence, as close as possible to the ground, to prevent overspray from landing on the dirt or grass. A small amount of stain on the ground is acceptable as it will eventually wash away with rain or sprinklers. After spraying a section, immediately follow with a brush to back-brush the stain into the wood.
Goal: Apply stain to fence panels while protecting the ground from overspray.
